Preparing company laptops for disposal

We take all laptops of every brand and condition, working or not, including chargers and laptop accessories. Apple, Samsung, Lenovo and other brands are welcome. Cracked screens, missing keys and laptops that no longer boot are all fine.

• Laptop batteries. Lithium-ion laptop batteries are recycled safely. Loose battery packs carry a small service fee.

Before pickup

• Back up anything you still need from each machine.
• Turn off activation locks. For Apple laptops that means turning off Find My. For managed fleets, release the devices from your management software so they are not locked to your organization.
• No need to wipe each laptop by hand. Storage is wiped or destroyed during processing, including laptops that will not power on.
• Pack laptops flat in boxes or totes, with chargers bagged separately. Write the count on each box so the total is easy to check at pickup.
• For a large batch, stacking boxes on a pallet near your loading dock makes loading quicker. Mention whether your equipment is palletized.

Quantities and the pickup fee

Every laptop counts toward the 12. A batch of 12 or more laptops reaches the threshold by itself. Pickup fee typically waived at 12 or more computers or servers. Some per-item fees apply. For smaller collections, ask about combining pickups in the area. A pickup fee may apply. Fees and waiver eligibility are confirmed before scheduling.

If your policy requires drives to be pulled before recycling, ask about it when we call. Hard drive removal is available for a small fee.
